Fish to Dish Cooking Class At Rick Stein at Bannisters Port Stephens

Love Seafood and Tastes of the Bay have joined forces this year to create a month-long food festival this August celebrating the stunning seafood and coastal cuisine that Port Stephens is so well known for.As part of the festival, Head Chef Mitch Turner and Sous Chef Chris Turton will be hosting a cooking class on Thursday 15th August from 12 pm – 2 pm at Rick Stein at Bannisters Port Stephens.Learn how to fillet Kingfish, and prepare and cook two dishes – Meurette of Yellowtail Kingfish and Kingfish Crudo with fennel, chive and candied lemon.Tickets are $35pp, with only 25 spots available!Call to book now.

Farmhouse French Rick Stein at Bannisters | Sunday 21st July

Join us at Rick Stein at Bannisters Port Stephens for the second instalment of our themed Sunday lunch!

On Sunday 21st July, Mitch and the team will be cooking up favourites from Rick’s ”French Odyssey” the menu featuring authentic versions of classic French dishes, wines showcasing the diversity of France’s grape-growing regions and delicious themed cocktails.

Join us for Rick Stein’s exclusive ‘Seafood Series’ on Sunday 11th August at Bannisters Port Stephens.
Good Food will return to host Rick Stein, Mitch Turner and special guest, Lennox Hastie of Sydney’s Firedoor restaurant.
Check in to our ocean-side hideaway and enjoy an aperitif on arrival in The Terrace Bar overlooking the infinity pool and sweeping views of Port Stephens Bay.
Dinner will showcase a four-course menu bringing together a shared philosophy that celebrates local, fresh ingredients in their most natural state.
