RICK STEIN’S SEAFOOD SERIES Join Rick Stein, Josh Niland and Mitchell Turner for a night of seafood

Join us for Rick Stein’s exclusive ‘Seafood Series’ on Sunday 7 April. In partnership with Good Food Australia, Rick and Bannisters head chef Mitch Turner are joined by Josh Niland from Saint Peter. One of Australia’s most respected young chefs and Newcastle native, Josh will bring his creativity and love of Australian seafood to Port Stephens.
The one off luxe event package starts with an aperitif on arrival, around The Terrace Bar overlooking the infinity pool. Check into the room of your choice, featuring king size and twin share style beds, and soak up the sweeping views of Port Stephens, before heading to Rick Stein at Bannisters restaurant for the main event. Dinner will showcase a four-course menu bringing together the classic and contemporary cooking styles Rick and Josh are so well known for, highlighting the versatility of Australia’s aquaculture with custom matched wines, all sourced locally.
A special guest from Good Food Australia will host and MC the evening, holding a conversation with the chefs as they take a deep dive into their influences and what drives them.
This amazing event package also includes breakfast the following morning, featuring continental buffet options as well as three exclusive dishes created by Rick, Josh and Mitch, continuing the Seafood Series collaboration.
All guests will receive an exclusive event bag, with gifts from Rick to take home and enjoy. For those who don’t need to hurry back to work, recoup and recover by extending your stay for a second night, and make the most of the blue water paradise of Port Stephens. Rates start at $995 for two adults, including a welcome pack in your room, dinner, live music and breakfast. Rick Stein at Bannisters Port Stephens will be open seven days for lunch and dinner from the 13th – 28th April!

End of Summer Party 24th March at The Tavern

Join us to celebrate the last few days of Summer at The Tavern!

 

Enjoy live music from Kylie Jane, playing 1 pm – 6 pm, lawn games in the beer garden for big and little kids alike, and hog roast rolls hot from the barbecue – until sold out.

 

Our á la carte menu will be running between the usual times 12.30 pm – 3 pm and 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm.
